Antifascist Gino got arrested in Paris

The 12th November 2024, Gino got arrested based on a European Arrest
Warrant.
Before he had managed to escape a already decided extradition from
Finland to Hungary, by freeing himself from the ankle tag. He got
arrested again in Paris.
The circumstances of his arrest are unknown until now.
Now he is again facing the demands for extradition by the Hungarian
state and is threatend to be moved to Orban’s authoritarian state.

The Italian member of the European Parliament Ilaria Sarlis, who has
been imprisoned in Hungary as well for antifascist intervention during
the “day of honor” 2023 in Budapest, wrote on X:

“Gino arrived to Italy when he was 3 years old and lived there non-stop
more than 20years. For racist reasons, the authorities refused to give
him the Italian nationality, giving excuses about some policereports
about his big contributions to the movement.
Gino is my comrade, my friend, my brother. But solidarity is not only a
personal and kind issue, but first of all a political one. Another time,
tyrannical Orban is trying to trample on Antifascism and constitutional
rights”

We are in solidarity with our comrade Gino and demanding his release
from prison. The conditions in Hungary’s prisons are almost torture and
the trial is political, as the experiences of already imprisoned
Antifascists are proving.
We are concerned that Gino might suffer from additional violence and
discrimination in the racist court-, and justice-system, both in France
and in Hungary.

We call for everyone to stop the extradition to Hungary. No matter if
France or Germany: Free all Antifas!
