Call for Decentralized Action: Maja’s Impending Extradition

A decision in the current extradition hearings is getting closer!

Maja is currently in prison in Dresden, Germany. If the Berlin court of appeal grants Hungary’s request, then Maja, a non-binary & antifascist person, will be handed over to a right-wing nationalist, arbitrary, authoritarian state and its justice system. There, Maja will be threatened with a prison sentence of up to 24 years under inhumane conditions, including insufficient provisions, arbitrary treatment, intimidation, and poor hygiene.

It would be scandalous for the Berlin court of appeals to agree to extradite despite all that! Maja needs all possible support and public solidarity.

For that reason, we are calling on people to organize in their own cities and groups and to plan for diverse independent action during the time immediately after the decision! We need a loud response across Germany and internationally if Maja should be extradited to Hungary.

We will not let our comrades go easily!
